As previously reported, Sonic: Lost World is in development for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and Sega have updated their Facebook page with a teaser image for the game. The caption reads: “Six will rise from the Lost World. Are they friends or foes? Find out on May 29th.”
Sonic: Lost World is one of three exclusive Sonic games in development for Nintendo platforms, as part of an exclusivity partnership between Nintendo and Sega. The second game is Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The third hasn't been announced yet.
